Cool Jazz in the shade of the Steam Plant

A renovated steam plant on the banks of the Arkansas river in downtown Salida, Colorado makes a fabulous venue for a wonderful afternoon of jazz. Rain or shine and plenty of shade if you like. Food and drink is available. Alan Joseph on guitar, Andy Burtschi on bass and Randy Bowen on drums, join me in serving up some cool jazz for you.

Less than 1.5 hours drive from Colorado Springs, Salida is a quaint old town that is now home to artists, galleries, sports lovers, retirees and other hip folk. The Arkansas river runs through town and there is a kayaking course within site of the SteamPlant Event Center. It’s is a great vacation destination.

We’ll mix the the song list with something for everyone, from saucy salsa to swaying bossa novas, from bouncingbop to funky fun. Come join us, kick back, have a glass of wine and some eats and listen to cool jazz on a summer Sunday.
