FluteDaddy Jazz Quintet Gives Wings To Latin Soul At the Red Raven In Pueblo
Sunday November 14, 7:00 PM the FluteDaddy Jazz Quintet brings its Latin Soul concert to the Red Raven, 1143 E. Evans Avenue Pueblo, CO 81004.The program features standards, soul jazz and jazz funk songs infused with the rhythms of latin jazz.
The FluteDaddy Jazz Quintet features Joseph Liberti on flute with top Colorado jazz performers Bruce Pennington on piano, Marc Neihof on bass, Dick Cunico on drums and and latin jazz percussionist Dennis Bueno, on conga, bongos and other rhythm instruments.
“Soul jazz tunes like Watermelon Man and pop tunes Like Evil Ways, charged with hot latin rhythms, are both fun to play and to listen to,” says Joseph, FluteDaddy Liberti, “and when we rolled out this new show last week at The Loft in Colorado Springs, folks loved it.”
Pueblo’s own Revolution Rum is sponsoring the program for music lovers 21 and over and there is a $12 cover charge.
