Thanks to you our April concert was a sold out smash. We are repeating the program at the Tri-Lakes Center For The Arts in lovely Palmer Lake, a half-hour north of Colorado Springs. This June 3 event includes a fab buffet meal from the wizards at Amuze’ and the program of inspiring jazz arrangements of great songs from film that got raves from the audience in our April concert. Cabaret Concert & Wine Tasting

Tri-Lakes Center For The Arts is excited to bring you Jazz’n The Movies, a Cabaret Concert and Wine Tasting event with buffet dinner catered by Amuze’
The Wine Tasting
A wine tasting will precede the concert. Sample select fine wines to your palate’s content. Wine tasting begins at 6:30 PM and the cabaret concert starts at 7:30 PM.
You will enjoy the Cabaret Concert performed onstage by the FluteDaddy Jazz Quartet.
The FluteDaddy Jazz Quartet is comprised of Colorado Springs professionals led by jazz flutist, Joseph Liberti, with a rhythm section of master musicians, well known to local jazz aficionados, including Bruce Pennington on piano, Marc Neihof playing bass, and Dennis Bueno providing drums and percussion.
Hit Movies, Memorable Songs, Fine Jazz
For the Jazz’n The Movies program the group has written fresh jazz arrangements of songs from hit movies including West Side Story, Porgy and Bess, Sweeney Todd, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music,and other films. The April 30 concert was a sold out smash and got raves from the audience. Reservations are recommended.

What Is That Giant Flute?
‘What is that big flute,’ people ask, ‘it is a gorgeous sound.’ “It is an Alto flute,” says Joseph, and I be playing it on many of the tunes for this concert. It can sound sweet, soulful or sassy.” “People will also be delighted by the exciting Latin jazz sounds of conga, bongos, and other percussion instruments delivered by Dennis Bueno, and the artful improvised solos of all these fine players” Joseph adds.
Palmer Lake area residents are well acquainted with the gourmet delights provided by Chef William Sherman at the Amuze’ restaurant formerly in Palmer Lake and now in the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. Bill and his staff have created a fine buffet for you.
All tickets include the wine tasting, buffet dinner, and the concert. A selection of choice wines will also be available for purchase.
