From Live At The Loft: And I Love Her

by Joseph on October 10, 2010

And I Love Her, recorded live at The Loft is now available for download.

Hey Beatles fans and other FluteDaddy concert-goers!  Many of you asked if we had a recording of this Beatles favorite, featuring alto flute, played in our Jazz ‘N The Beatles Concerts. Here is one we recorded live at The Loft in September. Listen to the rhythmic conversation between piano, drums and flute starting at about 1:45. Enjoy.

Old Songs With A New Twist

June 16, 2010

Hillside Gardens Concert Program Is Getting Exciting You might say one of the things jazz musicians do well is deliver old songs with a new twist, for example: they change the rhythm that the song was originally written in to give it a new feel.
